Sultan Mirza - Principal, Senior Creative Director

Sultan Mirza founded Helvetica Creative as a full service advertising and PR agency specializing in brand marketing, strategic planning, design, and website development.

Sultan came to the United States from his native Switzerland 15 years ago to pursue a career in the television industry. Since then he has earned a master’s degree in communications and worked in the newsrooms of major media outlets from New Orleans, to Washington D.C and San Francisco. With the launch of Helvetica Creative, he is exploring new avenues and taking on new challenges for his clients.

As an Emmy® award-winning television promotion producer, he draws on extensive marketing knowledge to create work that engages and connects with television, print, and online audiences. His work appeared in major newspapers including The San Francisco Chronicle, The New Orleans Times-Picayune and The Washington Post while his television spots have aired on major media markets stations across the United States including ABC, CBS, NBC, and the CW.

He has worked on projects as varied as the promotion of “The Grammy Awards”, the launch of “The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric”, two Superbowls, and hit reality shows such as “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race”. As well as daytime syndicated television shows including "The Oprah Winfrey Show", "The Rachel Ray Show", “People’s Court”, "Martha Stewart", and "Judge Judy".

Sultan also has extensive experience with non-profit organization promotion including Junior Achievement, The Susan G, Komen Foundation, the Defense Department, The Commonwealth Club, The World Affairs Council and many others.

He is a contributor to various online publications as a marketing professional. He also serves as a Governor on the board of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences chapter in San Francisco, California.
